We want you to know that AARP is providing information and resources to help older people and caregivers protect themselves from the virus and prevent its spread. You can find AARP's coronavirus resources at www.aarp.org/coronavirus. We also point you to www.cdc.gov/coronavirus, and your state and local health agencies for the latest information.Join AARP Oregon for Women and Money, an educational summit providing information aimed at helping women make fact-based decisions to strengthen their financial future. Studies show that Americans aren’t saving enough for the future, and the risk of coming up financially short in retirement is especially real for women – who tend to live longer, earn less, and spend more time out of the workforce caring for family than their male counterparts.AARP believes preparing for our financial future is all about achieving the concrete financial milestones that make sense for us. Even if these milestones are very modest, each one makes our financial future bright and more secure. This is a free event, but registration is required. Refreshments will be provided.
