AARP OR, Women & Money Summit, Portland, OR 4/7/20

This event has been cancelled. If you have any questions, please contact the event planner directly.

Summary

This event has been cancelled.  While convening events such as this is a core part of our mission, we have changed our approach in light of the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak.

We want you to know that AARP is providing information and resources to help older people and caregivers protect themselves from the virus and prevent its spread. You can find AARP's coronavirus resources at www.aarp.org/coronavirus. We also point you to www.cdc.gov/coronavirus, and your state and local health agencies for the latest information.

Join AARP Oregon for Women and Money, an educational workshop to help you make fact-based decisions about your financial future.

Generally speaking, women earn less, save less, and live longer — but are still responsible for the same living expenses men pay. The end result is that more women than men fall into poverty past the age of 65.

AARP believes preparing for our financial future is all about achieving the concrete financial milestones. Even if these milestones are very modest, each one makes our financial future brighter and more secure.
This is a free event, but registration is required. Refreshments will be provided.

Doors open at 5 p.m. Workshop starts at 5:30 p.m.
