AR State Capitol History

Summary

Join us for a special event with Dr. David Ware, current State Historian and director of the State Archives, and the previous historian of Arkansas’s Capitol for almost nineteen years. Dr. Ware will give an unique, impressionistic introduction of the Capitol’s history by looking at the many ways in which it almost did not get built, which makes its completion and survival all the more remarkable.
